Hornby King Class Sound Module
The installation instructions for this decoder are not very clear. It is not stated, for example, that to fit into a recent "dcc ready" King Class loco, the speaker must be taken out of its plastic housing. It will then fit into the mountings under the ballast weight in the tender. The small PC board can be insulated with sellotape, and will fit on top of the ballast weight. The "Control Vatriables" and "Function" sections in the instructions leaflet are comprehensive, but reference is necessary to the "Railmaster" or "Elite" instructions to find out how to implement them.
Once fitted the system works well, but some adjustment of Control Variables (adjusting sound volume and timing) may improve things.

Ratio GWR Square Post Signal
The kit consists of a lot of components from which various signal configurations can be made.
There are parts for 4 post type signals and 4 ground level signals.
These are tightly arranged on the sprigs and are tricky to release, however the moulding is of good quality.
The instructions are not detailed enough; A lot of thought is required to sort out assembly.
A number of the parts are very small. It is only suitable for an experienced modeller.
The final model is probably to scale, and therefore quite fragile.

good quality slippers
The slippers are of good quality and the velcro fastening makes them suitable foe a disabled person.
