Arrived a day early and item was as described.
Item arrived a day earlier than expected. The CPU was wrapped with bubble wrap but as it has pads, not pins, that was more than adequate to protect it. Had to clean a bit of residual thermal paste but that is to be expected. Expect a few reboots of your system to allow the OS to reconfigure for the new CPU. But once done it works well, and my system is noticeably snappier (coming from i5).
