Great, solid unit.
Well, first off I could have bought any laptop in the 1500.00 to 2000.00 dollar range. I do not game often so that was not a big deal. I wanted a solid high end platform with an exceptional display. The samsung nailed it. Before I purchased, I looked at all the usual suspects like Alienware, Asus, M.S.I. etc..The displays were all lacking. I am heavy into graphic design and 3d modeling applications, I also do quite a bit of video editing. The Samsung works absolutely perfect. Now, the bios does not support hardware raid, must use software but I see no need when I installed a 500GB Samsung 850 ssd as primary drive and use the second 750GB drive as storage. It has a 8GB flash drive as well. Windows 10 is to large for that drive, I use it as a quick storage area. The video card is a Nvidia 675m based on the fermi architecture. Fermi works great for 3d design, arguably better the Kepler. Yes, it is only 2GB's but work just fine (I built some great animations in very good time in blender 3d). The keyboard is wonderful, everything just feels slick and very high end with this unit. The back lit keyboard is great, it changes from a white to blue when turned into "gamer" mode and the light is adjustable. As for the knob on the side, the three settings, library, standard, turbo mode, all work. I have combined the standard and turbo (only because I like a white backlit keyboard) so it works on turbo mode with white background keyboard.
In a nutshell. If you are a hardcore gamer the latest greatest thing may be for you, for work and high end applications (cad, 3d, cs6) this unit is awesome and perfect for the price point. I paid 899.00 on e-bay. I do not regret it one bit. I have had the unit over three months now so the honeymoon period is over and I still use this everyday. I am in college fulltime and would venture to say I use my laptop a tad bit more then the average fellow.

Very impressed with the service. Product was exactly as described. Arrived early. The greatest thing was the packing job. very secure and well packed, as a computer component should be!

Best little book going!
I tell you what, I have volumes of books it seems on Cisco CLI. This book has everything you will ever use all in a nice pocket friendly edition. I will go further and tell you it contains a simple table to memorize subnetting that I have never heard of that works flawlessly! Absolutely great book!
