8 of 8 found this helpful I am familiar with ladders, having been climbing them for over 45 years as a carpenter. I believe this product to be a good buy for the money- I like the multi-function features. HOWEVER- USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING PLUGS WHERE THE STABILIZER BARS ARE MOUNTED ON EACH END. When I slid out the "plugs" where the slits are located at the ends of both side rails, the metal has jagged edges where those slits were cut out. As I slid out the plug, my thumb was cut on the inside, the most calloused part of my thumb. I've had to wear tape around the wound, and after day 3 since the incident, I still can barely use that thumb. A little bit of filing in the factory could eliminate these sharp, serrated edges. Old farts like me feel real frustration when someone neglects to take pride in their work that may cause injury.
