Substantial weighty yet delicate.
1 of 1 found this helpful The watch face is clasped at two points on either side so that it appears float. This allows the face disc to sit comfortably on your wrist even if you have a slim wrist. This floating pivots add delicacy to such a weighty watch. Very comfortable. One of my new favourite watches.

Why do we still wear watches?
2 of 5 found this helpful Not simply for the utilitarian function of telling the time. Our smartphones that we carry everywhere does the same & more. Yet this vestige of an era soon to be eclipsed endures. This watch embodies why it endures...for the sheer visual pleasure we receive each time we glance at it.
It gives immediate accurate measure of time in daylight and in dim night light. Yet this belies the deeper underlying satisfaction received from beholding its masculine beauty. Beautifully crafted. This watch rewards the owner each time he looks at it with its intricate details. From the second marker on the inner silvered bezel to the glittering crystals on the outer dial and inner face.
For me, much can be made from the symbology of the number of each crystal arrangement. 12, 8, 7, 4 and 3.
But regardless of whether you see significance in the arrangement of its individual elements; you'll have to agree that yes, this is a Man's watch. Perfectly proportioned. Not ostentatious. Elegant, rich and built to last. Ultimately gratifying for its owner to behold.
I'm 100% happy with this purchase. You will be too, from a vendor you can trust. At a price that can't be beat. Recommended.
