Great Value - bluetooth will drain the iPad battery obviously.
I've used iPads for years and never bothered with Bluetooth keyboards. Having used this on my new iPad air 2, I now wish I had earlier. It was an impulse buy when I was looking for a cover and yes, it works really well as a protective case!
The keyboard is great too though - it gives more of a netbook feel when you don't have your laptop with you. Its simple to pair and the battery life well outlasts the iPad by several times. I usually charge it when I charge the iPad but I've never see the low-battery light on.
It also works better than I wondered on those rare time I want to hold the iPad in the 'portrait' position - the case kind of folds behind and you still have the digital keyboard as usual.
The keys are quite clunky - I'm cack-handed so it suits me but if you are of a more delicate disposition you may feel they lack quality. I've used for a couple of months and it been totally robust though and for the money I'm extremely satisfied.
The only down side is that using the Bluetooth to connect drains the iPad battery noticeable more quickly - I reckon I get 4 to 5 hours of constant use now. That suits me but might not work for everyone...

1 of 1 found this helpful I’m not an engineer but this lock & chain seems as good as any I’ve bought. 3 keys is a bonus. Mainly though it was fantastic value for money!!
