Good sized SS pan for fire or stove.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have Teflonaphobia and have learned the advantage to cookware that can be placed directly into a fire. This is the advantage of stainless over aluminum, so I can save stove fuel. I tested the Alpine skillet at home hard for a week making a mans breakfast of six bacon and four eggs, grilled meats, fish and more as I would eat camping. The handle locks solidly and the skillet has a small pour spout where the handle continues to perform well. The skillet has a swirled ring cut into its bottom and this helps grip together when used with my Pocket Rocket or other stoves with "toothed" support arms. The arm disassembles for packing and the Alpine can hold many kitchen items. I use a USGI mechanics bag for my kitchen and the skillet fits perfectly with other cook stuff. Clean up is something I do daily and is not difficult to me. I am glad I bought the skillet and consider it a positive purchase.

Excellent cleaning tool that's lightweight and packs small
I like this scraper because it fits anywhere but rides packed inside my bushpot. The flexible side makes "Licking the bowl" easy and the hard side lifts stubborn leftover before washing. It is pretty much and indestructible helper void of weight , thin and easily stored. I even imagine in a pinch it could clean under your nails !

Military quality in larger sized Trangia.
I am partial to military quality and needed a Trangia stove for my Pathfinder bottle stove kit. I ordered this Swedish Trangia and it fit perfectly inside the round Pathfinder bottle stove. Cook time lasts roughly 30 minutes on a "regular" burner but this military version burns 90 minutes plus. This unit is too large to fit under a USGI canteen cup stove and you must use the smaller units. Research has shown the foreign Tatonka to be the only snuf ring big enough and they are pricy. I found an empty can from Tyson chunk chicken (12.5 oz.) fits over the trangia perfectly. I take a bandana, fold it into a square just larger than the can, place the Trangia in the middle and force it down into the can for a perfect tight fit. This leaves you a stove, a snuffer and a filter/napkin for dining. I have gone back 3 times now to purchase more and am well pleased. I chose the yellow bottle Heet as fuel. The fuel bottle paired with this trangia is shaped to pack easily as a bonus.
