just not the correct OEM ?
THE "OEM" replacement part is not an exact fit or the exact replacement . I needed it so I modified it to work .The broken shaft connects to the spool w/a female thread and threads into the spool . The replacement has a protruding hollow shaft w/ female (1/4-20) threads I had to cut a 1/4-20 bolt to a correct size ,adding nuts and washers running this nut thru the spool . Also my spool had a metric nut which I switched out to make it all work . The parts were ordered for the " listed in the add " model . Thank you for hearing me out . J.Rueb ,Melrose N,Y.

crystal clear windshield replaced the original on my 92 HD ,FLHS perfect
