Excellent value.

This was Bronson’s best film after Rider on the Rain.
2 of 3 found this helpful Proof that Bronson was an actor and not just an action star. This was his best film after Rider on the Rain; and it similarly got great reviews (including one from American film critic and historian Roger Ebert). The fights scenes are thrilling, but they are not bloody like the Rocky movies. Because this film is more about honor than about realism, it is satisfying on multiple levels. Strother Martin and James Coburn round out the cast and they give fine performances. The Masters of Cinema version of the film includes an interview with the film’s director Walter Hill (his debut film as a director) and his stories about the writing and casting of the film add to the experience of watching the film. You’ll definitely be glad you purchased this film.
