An answer to a cat owners prayer
Providing you use wood chip litter then this tray makes life simpler than it was. Years ago I used sieves and scoops to manage cat litter never imagining that someone would produce the sieve and tray as an item. Shake it to let the sawdust fall into the bottom part of the tray if the actions of the cat has not already done that, scoop out the solids and you are done. This means unused wood chip can be left in the tray and put back into service.
It is simple to use and economical too.

PIR light
I bought it so that I could find my front door lock when it is dark. I think I chose the wrong time of year since the Sun is absent most days. Also the positioning of the light is decided by it being near the front door and the Sun does not shine on it all day. The result is it works for a few hours after dark and then stops working
It will be interesting to see it perform in brighter weather but for the moment it barely copes. It might have been a good idea to have a charging socket on it so it doesn't have to rely on the Sun.

A cheap and possibly practical way of catching reasonably sized animals.
I can recommend it as a cheap way of trapping animals but there are one or two things that need saying about the device.
It arrives flat pack with no instructions. If you have a handy five year old child then this is not a problem but after a bit of what goes where it was functional.
The trap door is safe for the animals and I sprung it several times with a human female's arm in it without damaging her. The trap door has a large gap at the side when it is closed and I am reasonably certain that smaller animals could escape through that gap.
The access door at the other end has a fiddly bit of wire that must be removed before the door can be opened and there is room for improvement here.
The biggest criticism I have is the lack of solid floor. It is mesh like the rest of the cage. I can't escape the image of lifting the cage only to have the animals legs dangling out of the bottom. It needs to be modified with a sheet of ply or similar. As a temporary fix we are trying a blanket laid out on the bottom but this may not be so easy to clean. Wild cats are not toilet trained.
Still, if it catches the wild cat/kittens in the garden then all will be well.
