About us

Hello! My name is George. My Brother John and I grew up in Denver, CO in the 1950’s. It was the “GOLDEN AGE OF O-GAUGE TRAINS.” We loved going to Downtown Hobbies, Caboose Hobbies and Mizell’s. When we had a few extra dollars, we would buy track from Dires Lock and Key – one section at a time!
What we “miss” about that “HOBBY SHOP” ERA was talking with and meeting all the Great People working and buying at local shops, getting advice and help, and learning about trains!
