I've been using Devcon Plastic steel for about 40 years, It's great for repairs and bedding jobs.
If you need a hard smooth repair and you can't weld for some reason this is great stuff that can be cast and used as is, or machined surface to fit.
What would make it better product, if it could be mixed in a 50/ 50 ratio as I use this in very small quantity's and I don't have a small enough scale to be accurate. 2 quarter tee spoons are much easier to measure out than a 2.5 to one ratio. It's also a bit more expensive than similar fiber glass and epoxy products.

I'm not sure why I bought this, as the Weaver patern does not match the Picatinny slot spacing.
This is a fine rail if you are using the Weaver slot pattern and it sometimes works with Picatinny rail, but this one doesn't. I guess I'll just have to spend the extra money to standardize my scope mounting to the picatinny system.

Looks pritty and shoots well
Well made, beautiful colors in the wood, fits me to the gun very well, this is the second one I own.
Value, it's expensive compared to others but I can afford one. Very stable compared to non laminated wood stocks.
