Good as original.
This item was almost identical to from the original item that it replaced. I say almost because the wording on the original and the advertising image read 'Nikon BMN-5' whereas the replacement reads 'For Nikon D70'. This of course makes no difference to it's function and I am very pleased with it.

Very good but with reservations.
The bore sighter was just as I expected. It is well made but I have am issue with it .
In the instructions it stated firmly 'Do not adjust these four screws. OR warrant will expire immediately. These screws are set in the factory when aligning.'
If I hade taken notice od that the item would have been straight back in the post.
On fitting the device to a clamped rifle I found the, on rotating the item, the red dot wandered round in a circle. Meaning that it was not acqurate. After adjusting the screws CAREFULLY I now find that the sightline in perfect on rifles from .22 up to my 50/70 Rolling block.
I am not suggesting that you mess about with those screws, just check by rotating and if you have the same problem as me, contact the seller.

Fine as far as it goes
It is exactly what it says. The main items are stored securely and the whole thing is shockproof.
What could be improved is the storage area inside the lid. Items in the lid will fall out as the case is opened.
Another improvement would be to make a second type with more storage space.
Havi9ng said all of that... It does exactly as described and is of good quality.
