OEM replacement part for the FR, Improves the FT.
Yaesu OEM part, goes onto the chassis nxt to r40 on the FR, same place on the FT. Better part than the yaesu button cap it replaced on the FT.....

Practical application of this clamp meter falls short of needs.
I could not get the clamp tool to work in a satisfactory manner. The more people I ask, the more I find that the tool CANNOT work in many simple situations. A more sophisticated 'chip' is required to make it useful (e.g., AC lines) ?
If had known these limitations, i would not have ordered it.
The instructs are well written. Carefully read, they point to the problems. I tested the machine repeatedly. It's appears to be sensitive enough and sufficiently accurate, but not so stable. It will not do what I need.

Lot of info in this latter day effort. Good quality.
Had more information in it than i anticipated...That is, more than Yaesu established, with an earlier issue manual - which i have. That was welcome
Would recommend it to any owner.
