Best tie downs so far
I have been touring on the bike for over 35 years. Bungee cords were the order of the day for most of that time and they did the job well.
After discovering Rok Straps though I never use bungees anymore. I found them much easier to tie things down with. The extra width of the straps compared to the old bungee cords mean they cut into things less. The 2 ends can be attached to the bike and left there when camping overnight ready for the re - pack in the morning. Because the length is adjustable you don't have to waste time trying to find somewhere to put an overly long bungee cord. Or worry that the short bungee cord you had left may be over stretched.
They are a bit of a fiddle to get on and off if your camping overnight and want to ride the bike to the restaurant. I normally leave them on and just pull them tight.
I also have a few of the smaller ones just for securing things like water bottles.

Garmin Zumo 590 mount
Upgraded my previous Garmin Zumo to the 590LM. As I have 2 bikes I now have to buy extra mounts as you cannot release the cables on the 590 and so cannot easily move the mount from bike to bike with just the power harness left on each bike.
The mounts I have found to be very secure although no anti-theft locks are available from Garmin. Touratec do a lockable cradle but it's kinda big.
I would like the option to buy cradles with power wiring only. I don't use any of the other leads and they are a pain to hide away on some bikes. Would hopefully be cheaper too.
Not coming with a cover for the pins when the satnav is not in place is a bit of a cheap trick by Garmin. These mounts are not cheap and I prefer to keep the exposed electrical connectors covered.
Both the old Garmin mounts and the new 590 mounts have been better then the poor TT Rider I had previously. Got through a few Rider mounts so glad they were cheap. Certainly now issues with the Garmin.

big enough for the job!
My bikes tool kit came with a small 36mm ring spanner for the rear axle nut. This never gave much leverage so I ordered this combination spanner and it makes undoing the nut much easier. I managed to damage a finger so couldn't use the small spanner.
The quality and fit is very good.
