Right tool for the job
We needed three phase to run a mill and lathe and this unit permitted us to get set up at a reasonable cost. Installation is quite straightforward for someone with basic electrical knowledge and skills and once installed our shop was up and running in no time.

A very good tool provided you accept its limitations
Current battery technology, at least in this price range, is never going to give you the power of either a gasoline- or mains-powered blower, so don't expect to blast away big piles of wet leaves. This tool is ideal for keeping the driveway and deck clear, for getting in among the shrubs and clearing off flowerbeds etc unless the leaves are soggy from rain. That's a good excuse to put the job off for another day! I've also used it to clear snow off cars in the driveway this winter. All in all a useful tool to have. Continuously variable power control allows one to adjust blower velocity to conditions as well as to lengthen the battery drain time, although I normally finish the job in hand before the battery discharges.

OEM replacement
After twelve Buffalo winters the original handbrake cables finally seized up with rust..Given that they salt the heck out of the roads I'd say that speaks well of the design and build quality of the OEM component. Hopefully I'll get another dozen years out of this one.
