Another great Vostok
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Vostok. I also have a scuba dude. Both work great and seem right on when a compare their time against my phone’s time throughout the day. I did swap out the strap with a matching blue silicone strap. I also ordered a new bezel at the same time I ordered the watch so they would arrive together. I wasn’t a fan of the stock bezel on the Komandirski, so I ordered a different Vostok bezel that really didn’t cost much, like $14. It was easy to swap out. That’s the cool thing about Vostok, you can mod them pretty easily and then you’re even more proud of it because you’ve made it your own, so to speak. I did the same thing with my scuba dude and it looks awesome with a matching teal bezel. In my opinion, every watch enthusiast should own at least one Vostok.

A fun, and functional, watch to own
Once ordered it shipped quickly. The longest part of the shipping process was getting through overseas. Once it arrived in NY the watch was here (Midwest) in about two days. All in all, about three weeks shipping. Not bad all the way from Russia. Watch looked beautiful and seems to run very accurately while wearing. When not wearing, the winding seems to run down in about 24 hours, not 31. That’s not a big deal to me as it can easily be wound the next time I wear it. It’s kind of the nature of automatic watches. i really like the rubber strap. It’s soft and flexible, attracts a little bit of lint, but not too bad. The bezel seemed to be just the right amount of tension, not too hard to turn, not too loose either. I had such a good experience and liked my Amphibia so much that I have already placed another order from Zenitar for Vostok Komanderski watch and a new bezel.
