Beware of refurbished or open box Bluray players

The refurbished one we purchased was returned because it would not play regular DVDs or CDs. It kept freezing.

Works well but

Works well but the 5 disk tray design is problematic with all the brands using this system. This design tends to break down as the sliding in and out motion causes stress on the belt which often fails and needs replacement. The Pioneer 6 disk case used by several other brands is a more reliable system.
