Proteam Super Coach
We use the Super Coach vacuums in our janitorial business. We have over 30 in service. These vacuums are very well made and last many years under commercial use. The parts to repair them are readily available but costly.
Proteam made the first backpack vacuums and are still the best performing. Beware, there are a lot of copies out there. A Super Coach with a good motor will pull between 80 and 85 inches of vacuum at the hose cuff and around 90 inches at the machine. Tremendous power! Dust and debris on hard flooring several inches from the floor tool will just magically disappear.
Aside from the power, these machines are almost indestructible. We've had them fall down a flight of stairs and even fall out of a moving truck and they still work fine. We have some that are almost 20 years old and still in service.
I actually like the older round Super Coach better than the new models and pick them up on Ebay when I can.
If you are a commercial cleaner, you are probably already familiar with the Super Coach. If you are a homeowner with lots of hard flooring or low pile carpeting, the Super Coach might be perfect for you. Used residentially, a Super Coach will probably be the last vacuum you will ever need to buy.
