Eeekit for raspberry pi 3 is just the ticket
I found the kit very reasonable for anyone with decent eyesight and good motor skills to put together. Parts were clean and fit well. No extra screw length so if you decide to add on, you will need longer screws. As far as "stylish"goes, I'm 68 and wouldn't know stylish from tomato sauce. The only problem I had was the fan connector was too big for the slot over the GPIO pins. The kit suppliers were excellent. When I inquired about the connector, theygot right back to me and offered to refund a reasonable amount for the hassle. Showed up on my CC statement yesterday. I went through my junk box and found what I needed to cobble together effective female connectors and the Pi is up and running and I'm having fun learning something new. THANKS.

Good replacement for cracked band.
Good product and relatively easy replacement. Had to grind my own screwdriver points to fit Casio screw slots.Plenty of Youtube videos to teach how to replace helped immediately.

Fits fine but bearings crapped out immediately
I thought everything was great for the install. No issues. I found an ice block hitting the fan blades was reason for noise but decided to replace the motor with a new one while I had it exposed. Big mistake but I learned how to do the whole motor swap quickly. When the bearings started the annoying symphony, it only took me 20 minutes to get the old motor back in and buttoned up. I may have gotten a motor destined for failure so I am not going to badmouth the producers. It was just way too soon for an acceptable failure rate. Old motor is running fine at about 10 yrs old.
