Well detailed easy to build kits.
These kits are moulded plastic, well detailed, easy to assemble, requiring a minimal amount of work to assemble. Follow up with painting, mainly rust, and some weathering and they produce a realisitic representation of an essential piece of equipment.

A Wonderful Collection Of Nostalgia.
This book is a great piece of nostalgia for followers of British Railways Western Region, whether from a historical or modelling point of view. No doubt it would also appeal to general railway enthusiasts and historians too.
The excellent photographs, mostly taken in the late 1950's to early 1960's are all in colour, the scenes evoking memories of a way of life that has long gone. While the locomotives and trains take centre stage, there is also much of interest in the background too. The captions are very informative, and most are dated.

Fantastic value for money.
The model is well cast and, though a garish non prototypical colour, is nicely painted, and well detailed for such a low price. With a repaint and a little work it can be made into a very presentable scale model.
