Very good results
Very good results with minimum effort when used by hand.

Serious doubts this is a geniune SONY product
This is advertised as a genuine SONY product and I very much doubt that. The plastic casing does not have the same patterning as the original and the arrow selection keys do not work properly - it is very difficult to navigate through the Settings for example.
In the photograph it looks the same as a genuine one, the dimensions are the same and it has the same part code but the keys certainly do not operate as the original one did.
It meets the requirement that it is a new item but I have doubts that it is the correct item.

Did not fix my problem
No issues with the product it is exactly as described. I was trying to get a sound feed from the HDMI output on a Sky Q box to put it into an audio system as RCA input but this did not work and I do not know why.
