Like-new lighting control timer for incandescent lamps
Looks and operates like a new one. For anyone with existing Radio Shack incandescent light controls, it is a good replacement for older worn out control timers. As new bulb types replace the old incandescent bulbs, however, this control timer will no longer work. So it is useful as an interim replacement before moving to the new technologies.

Exceeded expectations
DVD quality exceeded expectations. Almost HD quality.
Clark a bit gray at times, but commentary was excellent.
Found it best by topic rather than entire 50 min episodes.
Intended for general audiences, not art historians.
One of the BBC's most popular documentaries, it exceeded everyone's expectations.
If you are interested in art history or western civilization, this is worth getting.
I saw this in 1970 after college. Looking at it again 40yrs later after much travel to many of the places and museums he visits, I still found much to learn from his commentary.
Book that followed the series makes a good companion to the DVD. Also James Stourton's biography 'Kenneth Clark' has the history of the making of the series and criticism at the time thu today as it is still in print.
