Does NOT fire Springfield! Works for Colt great
1 of 1 found this helpful Originallly bought for a Springfield 1911 and was sorely disappointed. Fit on a friends Colt fine. Was a $40 lesson to read description carefully. Still quality product if buying for Colt.

It’s a great value for your money
It’s a great option to stay legal if you want to rip off your ugly stock mirrors that don’t work anyway. I’ve been using a mirror like this one for many years on many different bikes. I usually run one mirror at a time as you are legally required to have at least a left mirror in ca. And is convenient because one of the mirror’s reflective glass came off the first day. The other side has held up quite well for a couple months now. My only other recommendation is to buy a true “folding” mirror. These are fixed so while lane splitting you run the risk of whacking someone else’s mirror.
All in all, for the money you can’t really beat this deal
