Stunning film of a 20th century masterpiece!
This film belongs on the shelf of every opera lover. If you're on the fence about opera, this is an excellent starting point. With only two characters and coming in at just under one hour, Bartók achieves in Bluebeard's Castle a dramatic intensity unmatched by many longer works.
