My standby lure

When I can't catch fish on anything else I pull out a Mepps Comet Minnow. If fish don't bite this lure, they just are not biting period. These lures can take a lot of punishment and last a long time. Generic imitation lures just don't have the same realistic action as the real Mepps lure.
