New reel is nice but requires a little adjusting to cast properly. It tends to over-spools until the tension is adjusted. This is not that easy to accomplish. I have had several of these reels and it is always the same with them. Frequently the tension has to be readjusted. Must be careful because the tension knob can fall off the reel and be lost if it is opened too much. It works well with larger fish.
