Low Voltage DC PWM Motor Speed Controller Module 3V-35V 5A 90W control 24v 12v

Good value and functionality!

This is a simple, but very good value, module which allows you to control the speed of a motor, or alternatively, you could use it as a dimmer for a lamp. The quality of components and the assembly is better than expected. A twist switch is incorporated in the potentiometer, meaning power-on and speed control is operated by one knob. In order to use the board with the lower voltage range (3-15V) you must bridge two pads on the board with solder. Please be ware: the pads are quite small, and I had some difficulty soldering a sufficient amount on - it didn't want to stick. I later discovered that significant current must pass through this bridge. My initial solder bridge was too thin and the joint heated up due to high resistance. Make sure you clean these pads well before soldering to make sure a good amount sticks onto there. Your solder joint must be able to take the current you are planning to draw through the module! To reiterate, this is not a defective module; I added more solder and had no further problems with heating. Overall I recommend this item, happy hobbying!

Great Value for Money Carabiner

Brilliant value carabiner. Really solid design, incredibly lightweight. A nice piece from Black Diamond, manufactured in the USA. Paint finish began wearing off after one use with a munter hitch, but really no issue because its bound to happen eventually.
