Good Quality But Not What I Was Looking For
1 of 1 found this helpful First off, I want to be clear that the product itself is good quality and it will produce a high quality look if you’re intending to replace ALL of the pillar moldings. Also, the seller/manufacturer of this product was very quick to ship this product, so I really have nothing but good things to say about the seller/manufacturer of the product and the product itself.
The reason I’m giving this 3 stars though is because I purchased these under the impression that I was buying OEM Jeep parts. This is not the case and I don’t remember reading anything on the listing specifying that it’s not authentic Jeep OEM parts. I could be wrong, I could have read the listing with selective vision.
There is a distinct difference between the Jeep part and the ones you receive in this set. The pieces in this set are flat pieces of high-quality acrylic, with distinct and sharp edges, which each come appropriately covered to prevent scratches in transit.
The default Jeep part on the other hand, is an injection molded plastic part that’s designed to fit within its appropriate spot and it’s also been designed to support the corresponding rubber door gasket that is glued to the body’s pillar under it.
So just be aware that if you’re like me and you’ve lost a single pillar post molding, this product may not be for you. If you’re looking to replace a single pillar molding, there’s going to be a distinct visual difference between this one and the rest of the stock moldings on the door.
However, if you’re looking to replace ALL of the pillar post moldings on your car to give it a sharp and distinct look, I would recommend this set. It would probably look pretty sharp AND considering the fact that these moldings have an adhesive layer covering the entire surface, they may stick to your car longer than the 3-4 strips of adhesive you get with the OEM parts.

Good Quality, Color Off
The color of this tubing is not quite bright red as it looks in the picture, more of a maroon.
