Made of particle board, not solid bamboo
1 of 1 found this helpful NOT made of bamboo. It is made a coarse particle board (granted, the fibers could be bamboo) covered with a poorly machined and glued laminate that didn't look all that much like bamboo. A generic "light colored wood" pattern that could equally claim to be ash, birch, maybe even oak as well as "bamboo". Drawer bottoms were very thin and fragile, constructed of a material that seemed to be something between stiff cardboard and a low grade hardboard. Returned Immediately

thick, heavy duty pan - virtually nonstick
old school pan, works great., I use it for omelets and eggs.
Properly cared for, these old calphalon's are essentially nonstick.
