Waste of time and money
2 of 2 found this helpful It arrived fine packaged okay even though there were tears in the package. I really needed this item to gauge the temperatures in my forge. First use, it cracked and came apart (see the photos). I knew something was wrong as my instrument began to read temperature climbing then quit. I tried to glue the ceramic together and used it one more time, it broke apart even worse. The ceramic is so cheap, it has not been cured properly. They
