Umarex Octane .177
This is my first breakbarrel air rifle and I purchased it for target practice. First impression was it is well constructed, large and heavy, app. 10#. It takes a lot of force to cock this gun but becomes easier with practice. I'm on my first can of pellets and accuracy has improved over a few hundred shots. The scope works well and is easy to set up although the iron sights are adequate for plinking. This gun has a two stage trigger which automatically goes to safety after cocking the gun. The trigger pull is hard and not consistence which is the complaint with this gun. This gun is powerful, accurate and well made and a great value for the price.
