Good unit, lightweight;
Lenovo has somewhat lived up to the IBM reputation that they purhased years ago. Newer units tend to be less well built, from a physical standpoint, but they still perform well; I had to upgrade my T470p, and this unit fills the bill nicely. docking station is pricey.

Poor construction and Quality Control
1 of 1 found this helpful I had one of these in use for over 25 years, and finally decided to replace it since the original plating had worn away from the winter weather. Well, the new one was really poorly built, even for such a simple device. Mainly, the rod that the door hinges on was cut too short, and fell out even during shipping. It had to have been out when the item was originally packaged, too. I had to replace the rod with a new one myself, just to be able to use this. I looked in local stores, and they ALL had the same fault. I would not recommend this today....better to find an alternative.
