Good product
I have had one for years, dropped too many times and it broke. Glad I found a replacement.

This is a good kit, but you need to know how to use it.
1 of 1 found this helpful I picked this up because I wanted to finish my first guitar neck, but I didn't want to spend a fortune at Stewart Mac. Unfortunately, there are no real instructions for it. But, I am not too sure the instructions could be printed on paper.
Try to find a video of someone setting up a neck. It will help your understanding of how to use this kit tremendously.
Just remember these tips:
Mask all your frets
USE ALL TOOLS GENTLY.
Use the rocker across ONLY 3 frets at a time.
Use the sanding board to level things making sure you follow the shape of the neck.
Use the crowning tool
Lastly, use some polishing compound on your frets to get rid of scratches.
Unmask the frets

It's a laptop battery
You charge it, you use your laptop, you recharge it. From what I can tell, I am getting the standard use out of a single charge.
