Works perfectly with the Heritage Rough Rider revolver
5 of 5 found this helpful I bought the 4 3/4" barrel Heritage Rough Rider revolver on sale at Gander Mountain the first weekend in August. The handgun came with the .22 LR cylinder only. I looked online at some forums to see if a .22 WMR (.22 Mag) cylinder would work and came away without a definite answer, so I thought I'd go ahead and take a chance and I bought this .22 Mag cylinder here on eBay. In the meantime I found some .22 Mag ammo online. I received the cylinder before the ammo - it looks exactly the same as the .22 LR cylinder - has exactly the same dimensions and measurements. The only difference is that the .22 LR cylinder has these cut outs around the front part of the cylinder that look to me to be decorative only. The cut outs have no effect on the workings of the cylinder itself. Finally, the ammo came in the mail and I headed to the shooting range. It fired perfectly and WOW, what a difference between the .22 LR and the .22 Mag. I'm glad I took the chance and bought the .22 Mag cylinder.
