they'll work for me
I wouldn't expect these hinges to hold up long on a heavily used cabinet but in a less demanding application they're hard to beat for the price.

not obsolete yet
I'm very pleased with the 7D; this body is to replace my first one which I used for a day of underwater photography in a glorified ziplock bag. Canon was willing to repair the water damage for more than a brand new 7D costs...the price has been reduced now that the 7D mkII is out. I decided on a used 7D which is in great condition for half the price of a new one.
