I must say I am disappointed. This "brand new" battery drains about as fast as the 12-year-old one I was using—about 1/2-hr. I did consider my hedge trimmer's blades might be less sharp now and get more easily caught in thick, soft clumps of weeds/ wild grass. However, even when it doesn't catch, it slows down too soon. The original battery lasted closer to 2 hrs. when it was new.
