Powerbar 2 The STRONGEST HIGHEST BEST pull up bar (no Assembly) welded 20 stone
    Aug 28, 2016
Strong and versatile pull up bar
The main benefits of this bar over other pull up bars is: 1. you can fold it up flat when not using it so it takes up much less room than other bars 2. the bar itself is one solid bar, viz, its not separated into 2 sections and held together in the middle by a pin like other bars 3. it requires no assembly at all 4. the bar is higher than most bars, being up at the top of the door frame, as shown in the picture. This makes it better for doing proper pull ups since you are fully suspended in the air rather than having to pick your feet up to keep them off of the ground. 5. Leading on from 4 above, the height of the bar means you can use it with gravity boots. I have a pair of Teeter hang up boots and I have suspended from the bar many times by the gravity boots - word of warning though, make sure you tie a rope/belt from the bar to help pull yourself up with or you could be stuck there dangling from the bar unable to pull yourself back up, viz, it could be potentially dangerous (or should I say fatal). Downsides: 1. No foam grip on the bar at all means your hands will get a bit sore after prolonged use unless you use gloves 2. The two thin support bars and hooks which attach the bar to the door frame look rather thin, would prefer to have had thicker ones and also one long attachment interface rather than just the two small hooks which attach on above the frame.
