Too thin to be of any use.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is not a close up mat. It has no thickness to it, it's a pretty much piece of thin shiny felt glued to a thin piece of rubber. The whole thing is 2mm thick. It has no give. It has no substance. It probably doesn't even have any calories.
I received mine folded into quarters and stuff inside an A6 mailing envelope. The smell of glue when I opened it almost chocked me. Seriously, it reeks of barge cement. If you are nasty enough to subject your paying public to this mat, only do so outside in a ventilated area otherwise they will be too off their faces to watch.
On the other hand, if you do a 27 phase ambitious card routine, use this mat in a confined space. The audience deserve some sort of altered state in order to cope.
Due to being folded and stuff in an envelope it's creased so deeply that it will never come out and has been binned after taking photos.
It is of no use in performing close up what so ever. Cards may spread on it, but coins, forget it! Also, if you are doing cups and balls, the creases in the mat are too steep. If ball starts rolling and heads towards a spectator the velocity it reaches by the time it leaves the mat will probably kill them. Unless you had a hand rail fitted. That may work...
At the end of the day, it looks like you get what you pay for. This was cheap... CHEAP.
