I haven't used it overnight on the trail yet but I practiced setting it up and it is very light, sets up quickly and easily and has a surprising amount of room for a backpacking tent. The rain fly goes on fast too and it's easy to fit everything back in the bag.

High end audio sound at bargain price

This is a very high end sounding amplifier for the price of a mid quality receiver. Using a pair of ADS L710 speakers the sound quality of music streaming from my iPhone is as good (to my almost 60 yr old ears) as listening to the original LP albums that I'm not going to go to the trouble of playing anyway. Very simple to set up and use.

The answer to complaints about bass drum volume

This beater will enable you to easily play any bass drum softer without sacrificing tonal quality. For example, if you play a bass drum with a hole in the front head and a pillow inside but need to play 4/4 swing time you can switch out beaters and play all 4 beats on the bass drum without sounding like an elephant stomping around. I use it with a 24” bass drum with only felt strip dampening and it gets a wonderful full tone at light volume. I’ve even played piano trio gigs with the 24” bass drum and no one even noticed that I wasn’t using an 18” or 20”. I also recommend it for students learning to play swing in a jazz ensemble.
