Very nice set for the price.
The set comes in a good, usable case, however, it is plastic. The hollow punches are nice and sharp and cut through thick tar boards very easily which happened to be my first job to do.
These will definitely do the job and make cutting holes in material a lot more professional looking.

Poor fit
If you buy this after market part please don't think this will fit as well as your original German part because it will not. I purchased this thinking just that and was immediately disappointed. You will have gaps and screw holes of course are not going to line up. That part itself was sturdy and not poor quality, however, you can't make this part fit all year vw bugs without problems like these. Just make sure you are practiced up on your machinist and metal former skills before purchase.

Purchased for 1974 Beetle
You will use a significant amount of energy, bending, prying, forcing, banging, twisting, growling and using touch up paint on your fenders in order to get these to fit. The holes on either end did not line up at all and had inch gaps on both sides at the front fenders. But they were cheap in price so I guess you get what you pay for. Have fun if you decide to purchase.
