One of the best I have seen in a long time.
We don't get this premium channel, and I kept hearing/reading about what a good series it is, so bought the DVD.
Pros: Extremely well-written. Acting and casting superb. Interesting plot. Characters very well-developed and interesting. One of the best I have seen in a long time.
Cons: Guess I'm naive, but I can't imagine real people use the "f" word so much. I hate hearing that word, and it's used so much it loses its ability to convey feelings of the character. Second, there are a couple of sexual scenes that were too explicit and were distasteful for me. The meaning could have been portrayed differently, in my opinion.
Bottom line for me: I will buy season 2 as soon as it comes out on DVD, because the story line is so interesting. But will keep the "fast forward" button handy. :)

Overabundance of foul language
Might have been a good movie if I could have finished watching it. Had to turn it off because it turned me off with the "f" word being used ad nauseum, sometimes 2 - 3 times in one sentence -- in every scene with dialogue. Yuk! It covered up any literary or entertainment value it might have had. If you don't mind having your ears and senses assaulted with gutter language, you might enjoy this movie.

Simply delicious!
We first tried this rich, flavorful soup a few months ago and now we don't want to be without it. Delicious by itself, or with a little bit of grated cheese in it. We have used it in casseroles and recently added a quart to our favorite vegetable soup and made it even better. Great by itself, along with a grilled cheese sandwich. Thick and creamy and with a robust, delicious flavor. Warning: if you try it, you won't want to be without it ever again. It's just that good.
