T-Mobile Bold 9700 Won't Work on AT&T 3G
I purchased this used, unlocked Blackberry Bold 9700 branded by T-Mobile. Overall, the phone works great. Calls are clear and the Wi-Fi is fast. That's where the good things stop. I called AT&T to see why I wasn't able to get the 3G to display on the screen. AT&T couldn't identify my phone on their network! My research is now telling me that RIM makes the same phone for both AT&T and T-Mobile and that includes all 3G bands, but they have a method of setting the phone to either T-Mobile's band frequency or AT&T's frequency, but not both. Both carriers use different frequencies for their 3G systems. Here is the bottom line: an unlocked T-Mobile phone will work on AT&T, but ONLY in 2G and NOT 3G! I wish I had known this prior to purchasing this phone, but I had no reason to research this sort of thing as my previous unlocked Nokia E-71 worked on any network. I gave this phone a "GOOD" rating because it does work good, but not great since it won't work on AT&T's 3G.

Sennheiser HD 555 Headphones
Pros: - Absolutely the most well balanced & best sounding headphone I have ever owned! - Open-design allows one to hear what is going on around then i.e. telephone, etc. - Very comfortable to wear over long periods of time. - They do not require a lot of power & work great on my iPod, computer & my home stereo. - Despite being manufactured in China, they are very well made with many replaceable parts. Cons: - A little heavy & bulky, but they take a lot to fall off your head. - Open-design is not good where it may bother others nearby as they can faintly hear what you are listening to. For the money, you can't go wrong buying these outstanding headphones! Every form of music sounds fantastic. I love them!
