Master Lock - Set of Keyed Alike Trailer Locks 3794DAT

Disappointed

After just 2.5 months of use, I can barely insert the keys into the locks, either due to oxidation or just poor quality of the lock internals. The rubber protective caps are always on so water shouldn’t be getting into the lock. Only explanation is that they’re junk locks. The cheap Walmart Reese locks I had lasted me 2 years and still worked smoothly. I switched because they were showing surface rust and these were supposed to be a better and more secure lock. Won’t be buying this brand again

MAKITA 196664-7 SQUAD

Disappointing

I’ll start by saying I like Makita and own a large selection of their cordless tools, so I was expecting a lot from this product. However I cannot recommend this tool or give it a good review seeing how it fails at its intended purpose. THE GOOD: material quality is exceptional as I’ve come to expect from the brand, and the concept is great, it’s much more versatile than a fixed square. THE BAD: the pointer is 1.1 degrees off (measured with a digital protractor) which makes it impossible to use as a square without squaring it against something else first, which defeats the purpose of the product entirely. Also, more of a convenience thing, the bar that fits onto the track does not slot into the track, only sitting on top, so you have to take extra precautions to make sure it’s aligned correctly and doesn’t shift out of place while adjusting the square/track.
