OEM part - unknown benefit to date.
I can't truly perceive the difference in sound which is the primary focus of buying it. Secondary focus was to reduce heat transfer to my hood. It absolutely can't hurt if I don't get it overly wet and prematurely damage it. Somewhat overpriced for what you get but it does have a nice Ford logo die-pressed into the surface so that's a plus. Ford should have included this from the factory. This part fit & aligned to my 2019 F250 6.2L perfect....even though it's not consistently advertised to fit on some of the Ford OEM part number searches.
