great addition to the FF series

Pretty much everything you'd expect from a Final Fantasy title... great graphics, plot line, etc. The only things that took time for me to get used to were the battle system and the gambits. Overall, if you're looking for some time to kill or something to keep you busy (like me, who's not a crazy college partier lol) and you like the series, there's no reason why you shouldn't get it. Sometimes the maps are confusing since you only see some of it at a time and the monsters sometimes pile up at the beginning of a level and outrunning them is usually a bad idea, but other than that I really enjoyed it and haven't completed it yet.

Burnt out immediately upon install

Disappointed! The ones I buy in a pack for a few dollars last longer than these. The second one smoked as I put it in the socket and was no longer usable. The only positive was the color/brightness. I used them less than 24 hours before they no longer worked.

serves its purpose

graphics aren't the best but for being an older version, i am happy with the result. it was a pain figuring out how to make it work for vista, but i somehow did it. its nice to talk to and see my friends rather than just typing to them.
