Perfect match to any Jaguar interior.
This type of knob should have been stock equipment. I'm awaiting my third shift knob in the mail, and I plan on getting a fourth to keep as a spare for the future, incase (when) I get another Jaguar down the road.
These knobs are of nicer wood than my stock knobs have been, with more visible wood grain and a really nice smooth finish. They match the stock dash wood better than the original stock knob too - I never understood why Jag didnt make the stock knobs more like these, with matched wood and a nice badge.
The stock knobs have a tendency to feel tacky or waxy, and these knobs feel smooth and hard like glass. I assume the old polyester coated knobs pick up hand oils, where these new knobs do not, and that feel is noticeable when you touch it. They are definitely of superior quality and workmanhsip.
Every one I've had has been of excellent fit and finish as well, straight and solid as stock fitment, and placed exactly the same as stock. These make a really nice accompaniment to the fine Jaguar interior.
The seller is also top notch, always friendly and quick to a solution, stands by his work, and knows his stuff like the artist and craftsman he is.
That said, if you have wood in your Jag and want it to stay nice, keep it out of the elements at all costs. I live in Florida, and it doesnt take long for the sun and heat to destroy the wood finish in a Jag.
