Good information for current and future parents, grandparents, guardians
I knew some of what’s reported in this book was occurring in public schools, but didn’t realize the breadth and depth of what’s being promulgated (or that teachers’ unions are supporting so much of it).
Many parents are probably not aware at all because we were brought up to think public schools, teachers, educators in general have children’s best interests at heart. Not necessarily so - as this book illustrates in shocking detail. I fear there is going to be an unprecedented mental health crisis - worse than currently witnessed - in about a decade, due to the abuse being poured onto children under the guise of “education”.
Even if one reads just the first few chapters, which are fairly brief, I think it will open some eyes.
(In our state, children -especially in under-performing school districts- can get scholarships for private school education. If you read this book and feel you have no other choice, please look into programs provided by your state - you may be surprised!)

Working well with HE top-loader, well water, septic
Had used this detergent years ago - when we cloth-diapered - and had moderate success. Decided to try it again due to suddenly having allergic reactions to “OTC” detergents that we’ve used for years. When used before, we had a front-loading washer that, in retrospect, seemed to be one of the reasons we didn’t have 100% success. (Back in 2005 when HE washers were having issues.)
Well, after a few weeks, with a top-loading HE washer (has a few deeper fill options for water levels), I’m impressed! TBH, I anticipated it wouldn’t get stink out of clothes caused by hormonal overloads - teenager and menopausal woman 😂. Everything (clothes, towels, greasy machinist clothes) is coming out fresh. And, fairly soft without adding softener!
(We do have very hard well water with a house softener system and a septic system, FWIW.)

Quick, interesting, informative
1 of 1 found this helpful This story is something else. Compelling? Yes. Disgusting? Frightening? Yes, those, too. Prior to the public mess the Democrats have created these last few years, I might have just nodded my head and not said much if someone mentioned the phrase “The Deep State”. (FWIW, I WAS a registered Dem for years and now regret that.)
George’s story, amongst many others coming out, has grabbed my attention and interest; and, I’ve never been one to consider politics to be overly intriguing. There’s no doubt an ugly underbelly of our government and its agencies.
The book is written somewhat simplistically. I don’t mean that as criticism - it makes it readable for those of us that are not knowledgeable about political terminology. All of the names/encounters were a bit confusing at first, but it falls into place. It’s a quick, eye-opening read.
