Poor Programming
1 of 3 found this helpful This model Rugby is a smart phone wanna be. It has wifi internet and text messaging. However, the screen is to small for internet, and to text message one must laboriously use the key pad. There is no way to use voice texting, this is a big disappointment.

TYT MD 380
I have had the radio about two weeks and thus far have not been able to get it to work. I do not say this to discourage others from buying one. But the programming doesn't seem user friendly.

No voice capabilities
When I attached the speaker mic to the radio I was unable to get any audio output
on transmit. When I took it apart I found the microphone sitting in a blind mount. There was no hole through which sound could reach the mic. It was necessary to drill a small
hole so that sound would each the mic.
