    I'm loving it!
My previous monitor was a NEC 1850E, which although it was a few years old, I thought it was a great monitor. I purchased this LG monitor because I needed more "real estate" on the screen. I was VERY delighted when not only did I get the additional space I needed (in moving from an 18" to a 23" monitor), but the sharpness and colors are just delightful! It's really enhanced my time at the computer!

Best value on a SCSI drive of this type!
I've been using Fujitsu drives since the SMD days in the early 80's, when a 470Mb drive set you back about 20-grand, and it took a couple strong people to get it into the rack. As drives got physically smaller, less expensive, and higher capacity, I've tried/used most every brand out there, but when I'm shopping bang for my buck (which I almost always am), it's tough to beat Fujitsu. There's nothing wrong with Seagate drives of this class, but I've never found any performance difference between Fujitsu and Seagate, and the Seagates are always more money (and I'm not into paying for "the name"). Presently I'm running 3 of the Fujitsu MAW3147NC drives, along with a MAP3147NC on an Adaptec 2120S RAID card, and I'm VERY impressed with the performance of the RAID-5 group. [RAID-5 groups tend to be doggy on writes, but I've got all the drive and controller caching turned on, and the performance is just great.] The Fujitsu drives are quiet, fast, run cool (just give 'em a bit of air flow), and just as reliable as any other drive of this type. If someone had told me 10 years ago that I'd be able to get a 140-some gigabyte drive for the price of a dinner at a good restaurant, I'd have had them committed. So... don't be afraid to pick up a Fujitsu MAW (or MAP) drive for your SCSI applications!

    Great printer for printing CDs
This is the second R340 I've purchased. I bought my first one years ago to replace an R300, and the R340 has been a real champ. Because I go through a lot of ink printing CDs, I did put a continuous ink system on the printer, as well as an ink recovery bottle on the back. These two options/modifications to the printer not only make it cheap to operate, but extend the life (as I think I got two or three ink pad resets out of my previous R340, before the black on the print head degraded to the point where the unit was no longer usable -- and thus I purchased this used unit, which works just fine).
